Polish Sausage and Sour Kraut

1 pound polish sausage
1 can or bag of sour kraut
½ cup brown sugar
1 can of pineapple

3 large peeled potatoes - optional
1 cup sliced carrots - optional

Crock pot or slow cook in oven

Place drained and rinsed sour kraut in bottom of crock pot, sprinkle brown sugar over kraut and then about half the can of pineapple and mix together. Put sausage on top and cook on low for 2-3 hour. This is easy and your family will think you spent hours cooking. Also you can add cubed potatoes and sliced carrots to the kraut.The kraut tenderized the meat and also sweetens the potatoes .
