Basic batter waffles:

2- Eggs
1 2/3 cups milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 cups of flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon of maple extract( optional)


Mix all ingredients gently, cook on hot waffle iron with oil rubbed on prior to heating. Cook until golden brown and crunchy. These also freeze very well in ziplock bags.
